Record player WAX Engine

The Minimalist

Description

The latest development from Consonance is called WAX Engine and is a further developed version of the already known and tested LP 6.3. Minimalist, the drive comes along. A cross of solid aluminum, a dark acrylic plate, a bearing, a flat belt and a DC motor, is all the WAX Engine needs. In addition, a sophisticated damping, which is done via three height-adjustable feet made of a special rubber compound. Combined with the new two-point bearing T88s tonearm (9-inch), an incredible vinyl spinner for beginners and advanced professionals.

This turntable is for you if you are looking for a sleek, stylish and special concept. Regardless of whether you want to use this vinyl turntable for a new start, re-entry or as an addition to your existing analog chain, with the WAX Engine you get a designer turntable at an outstanding price-performance ratio. This is also the opinion of the magazine stereoplay in its current issue (07/2016) and awards our drive with the overall rating “good”. In terms of sound, the editors even praise our drive with a “top class”.

As standard, the WAX Engine is equipped with our new T88s tonearm, which is currently unparalleled. Here, Shi Hui Liu, founder and developer of Opera, combines a two-point bearing with a ball bearing for the horizontal plane, creating a distinctive sound.

The scope of delivery also includes a 50 hertz strobe disc, an adjustment template for the tonearm and a tonearm scale.
